Service Description
For JCC Members and Carmel Parents only. The Strokes 3 level is designed for children who have been promoted from the Strokes 2 program or can already swim at least 50 meters of front crawl with bilateral breathing, as well as 25 meters of both backstroke and breaststroke. This advanced course will build upon the foundational skills developed in previous levels, with a focus on the following key areas: - Introduction to the butterfly stroke technique - Continued refinement of front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke - Increasing overall swimming fitness and endurance - Learning proper tumble turn and race diving techniques Instructors will provide detailed guidance and feedback to help participants optimize their stroke mechanics across all four competitive swimming strokes. The goal is for students to develop the technical proficiency, strength, and stamina required to excel in a variety of aquatic disciplines. In addition to stroke development, the Strokes 3 curriculum will also incorporate training to improve cardiovascular fitness and build the endurance necessary for longer distance swimming. Students will learn proper tumble turn and race diving techniques, preparing them for more advanced competitive swimming. Course dates are Thursday 4:45 - 5:30pm January: 9, 16, 23 February: 6, 13, 20, 27 March: 6, 13, 20, 27 April: 3

Cancellation Policy
Courses are booked in full for the duration specified. We do not offer refunds for classes you cannot attend during the course period. Once the class has started, we will not offer any rescheduling or make up class for whatever reason the class is halted by you or by circumstances (such as bad weather / pool closure). Withdrawal must be made 21 days prior to the commencement of the course for a full refund minus any platform charges. You may find a suitable replacement for your booked course - we will not handle any monetary transactions. We do not offer make up classes if you cannot attend lessons for any reason (illness included). However, we will issue you a "Session Credit" - you can use this credit to book any available Drop In Class* - the credit is valid for 2 months from issue - if you do not use it, it will be forfeited. A maximum of 2 credits will be issued for regular Kids Courses and a maximum of 1 credit for Adult courses. No session credits will be issued for Holiday Camps. The Session Credit has no value and cannot be used to offset any fees. *We cannot guarantee Drop In Classes will be available. Instructors may be substituted due to circumstances.
