Craig Norjte

Senior Coach

Craig is a highly passionate, knowledgeable, experienced and qualified swim coach; as well as a world class pool and open water swimmer. He particularly enjoys assisting adults in overcoming their fear of water, and developing athleticism through technique and mind set.


He is also a professional fitness, paddling and surfski coach; and athlete in multiple disciplines.


Qualifications:

  • Australian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association (ASCTA)

  • International Bronze Certificate World of Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA)

  • Certified CoachHong Kong Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion

  • Diploma in Modern Applied Psychology (DMAP)

  • Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor

  • Mental Health First Aider

  • Rehab-U Movement and Performance Therapy Specialist


Achievements:

  • South African Schools Waterpolo Team Captain

  • Clean Half 2013 Solo – 2nd, 2015 Solo – 1st, 2016 Team – 1st.

  • Cross Harbour (Men’s 35-49) 2013, 2014, 2015 – 1st, 2016, 2017, 2018 – 2nd.

  • Shek O Challenge 2014, 2015 – 1st.

  • Revolution Asia Series (Men’s 35-49) 2013, 2014, 2015 – 1st.

  • FINA World Masters Swimming Medalist (2 x Silver – 2014 and 1 x Silver, 2 x Bronze – 2019)

  • Broken multiple HKGSA Masters Swimming records in both long and short course pool competitions.

  • Hong Kong Open Lifesaving Championships 2016;

  • Ocean man – 1st, Ski – 1st, Swim – 2nd.
